Sa Foradada, Deia
Rustic cuisine with a spectacular view on Mallorca’s west coast.
Overlooking a popular little anchorage, enjoy traditionally cooked Paella and Gambas upon a magnificent view.
If you’re after traditional Mallorcan food with a jaw dropping back drop, Restaurante Sa Foradada is a real showstopper of a location. Not the most easily accessible, either by boat from Puerto de Soller or an hour on foot down from Son Marroig Country Estate, this spectacular location is well worth the effort. Their fully visible kitchen adds to the ambience as well as friendly accommodating staff.
Not suitable for the less mobile as it’s a good workout back up the hill and be sure to book your table in advance.

“Amazing restaurant with incredible views! Staff were so friendly, very well organised. Food was delicious! Set above a stunning bay with amazing views of the cove. The staff didn’t rush you to leave the table so we soaked up the view for a couple of hours. Definitely would recommend this restaurant” – Trip Advisor
“Delicious fish and paella in the most stunning setting with lovely staff. I really don’t think there is a better location on the island. The kitchen is fully visible and also adds to the ambiance. We arrived very late because we underestimated the journey and then the descent of the hill. Prepare yourself for a long walk down unless you arrive by boat as lots of other customers had. However, if you are prepared for the walk it is also very beautiful. To be repeated!! – Trip Advisor
“Amazing setting for a restaurant. See previous reviews of how to walk down. You must pre book. Have a swim before or after lunch. Kids had chicken breast, chips and salad for 15 euros. Adults had mixed paella for 20 euros or seafood paella for 26 euros. All delicious but obviously pricey due to location. Paella takes c 45 minutes to arrive. Litres of rose cold and tasty. A great day trip.”– Trip Advisor
